Portraits from Erasmus

This was a self directed project I undertook whilst studying abroad in Germany, as part of the Erasmus+ program. I set myself the task of creating a ‘photo-book’ focused on portraiture - particularly of the people I met and friends I made.

This project was rather enjoyable as it allowed me to explore the personalities of those around me - whilst also documenting my experiences. I took a rather relaxed approach to this project, as I didn’t want the images to come out as overly artificial - with a combination of candid shots and posed shots. It made me appreciate just how valuable a smile is.
